LAST PRACTICE THIS YEAR

Yesterday AIC women's soccer team had their last practice for the year. The practice contained of a couple passing drills, fitness and ended with 5v5. Now it is time to focus on finals week and then enjoy winter break.

In January we will be back at it again with both lift, conditioning, and indoor soccer. Everything to get ready for next season!

BACK AT IT

I'm pretty sure all of us have the same feeling after Thanksgiving. It's time to get back to working out! AIC Women's Soccer team are back at it tomorrow again. Lift with coach Rob is on the schedule then on Tuesday and Wednesday we go outside to practice followed by lift again on Thursday before we get a day off.

We can't forget about our seniors, right?? A big thank you to all four of you for representing AIC women's soccer team.

It's not whether you get knocked down; it's whether you get up

Unfortunately, AIC womens soccer team didn't get enough points in the last five games to make it to playoffs. But we don't put our heads down because of that. In times like this, you have to find a way to get back up there again, and come back even stronger. Looking back at the good things and bring that with you, and let the bad things go and move on! Motivation and attitude are two major factors in becoming successful and I know that our team has it!

Hi again!

A little update since last time. We are now more than halfway through the season and our record is 4-6-3 (all games) and 3-5-1 (conference). Linnea Herbertsson is looking strong and right now she's in the lead with her 4 goals for Yellow Jackets! Our goalie Mikayla Demanche has been doing a great job as well with an impressive record.

With five games left to play, and with a busy schedule, we are now focused and ready to give 100% these last games. On Tuesday October 17th we are taking on University of New Haven. Two days after that we play Stonehill then we get one day rest before we go to St. Anselm college. After this busy week we only have two games left and both are at home (!!) We play Adelphi on October 25th, the number one in the conference. Our last game is October 28th, which means that its's senior night so don't forget to write that down. St. Michael's are coming to visit us this time and we are hoping to get as much support as we can and make it a good night!

Welcome to my blog

Hi everyone!

On this blog you will be able to follow AIC Women's Soccer Team and everything we do. I will be giving you information about the players, games, upcoming events and other interesting things you would want to know. There are 37 players on the team this year and Kevon Isa is still the head coach, assisted by Cassie and Rob.

I am a junior so this is my third year as a member of the team and I would not wanna be a part of any other team. We have a great team spirit and always working hard to achieve our goals. That's all I have for now but make sure to check in again and I promise to keep you guys updated about AIC Women's Soccer Team.
